Manila rope, 4-strand, twisted from real hemp, ready to bind, length approx. 8 metres. Eight metre long ropes are typically used for Japanese bondage (Shibari). With Shibari, the ropes are almost always doubled up and are lengthened with the aid of knots at the end using a special technique. Used individually, the length of this rope is sufficient for a simple upper body harness. Included in delivery: 1 Manila rope, black, diameter approx. 6 millimetres, length approx. 8 metres.
Our hemp ropes are twisted from highest-grade hemp and consist of four strands. The raw material is specifically pre-treated, so hardly any rough fibres can be found on the rope. The grip, and therefore also the sensation on the skin, is incredibly soft and pleasant.
The ropes can be machine-washed at 40 degrees Celsius. They hardly fluff up in the wash and the length changes only minimally. The hemp ropes become hard when dried and therefore have to be pulled under traction over a door handle or through a carabiner and stretched slightly, in order to regain their softness. In contrast to most other popular hemp rope, ours does not have to be dried under tension.
Please only use a conventional mild detergent and never use softener!
