Manila Rope Set, ready to bind, consisting of 7 ropes, each of approx. 8 metre length, 4-strand, twisted from real hemp. This set is the Shibari basic equipment for more elaborate bondage positions, for example suspension. The ropes are almost always doubled up and are lengthened with the aid of knots at the end using a special technique. Included in delivery: 7 Manila ropes, at 8 metres long each, bordeaux-red. (Diameter approx. 6 millimetres)
Our hemp ropes are twisted from highest-grade hemp and consist of four strands. The raw material is specifically pre-treated, so hardly any rough fibres can be found on the rope. The grip, and therefore also the sensation on the skin, is incredibly soft and pleasant.
The ropes can be machine-washed at 40 degrees Celsius. They hardly fluff up in the wash and the length changes only minimally. The hemp ropes become hard when dried and therefore have to be pulled under traction over a door handle or through a carabiner and stretched slightly, in order to regain their softness. In contrast to most other popular hemp rope, ours does not have to be dried under tension.
Please only use a conventional mild detergent and never use softener!
