'The Etiquette Polisher', Double Slapper with Holes

The Etiquette Polisher is the fiercer version of a double slapper.
The two layers of thick leather are longer and slimmer, which gives them more oscillation and therefore causes a sharper impact. In addition, they are furnished with six holes each near the tip. This reduces the air resistance and ensures an even fiercer effect.
When struck lightly, the two layers of the slapper hit their aim with a slight delay, which creates a charming double clack, like an echo.
When struck harder, however, the impact is very hash and guarantees improved etiquette!

All the edges are thoroughly rounded off and furnished with a decorative line. The handle is constructed from a seperate strip of leather, which is sewn around the two layers of the slapper and provides a comfortable grip in the hand. A small D-ring is worked into the handle, to attach the slapper as a caution or just for decoration.

For the production of our Etiquete Polisher, we use our heavy English saddle leather
(please see additional information below)
in the following colour variations:
- black with handle in black and burgondy stitching
- black with handle in mahogany and black stitching
- mahogany with handle in london and stitching in mahogany
- london with handle in black and stitching in london

Our heavy English saddle leather is an especially high-quality drum dyed leather and has a thickness of approximately 4,5 to 5 millimetres.
The surface is not covered with insoluble pigments, but natural, providing a particularly pleasant grip and feel.
Over time it becomes softer, rather than harder (in contrast to cheap belt leather, which turns hard and brittle after a while).
This leather benefits from a little dubbing from time to time; oil, however should not be used, as due to the naturally retained surface it could change the colour of the leather.
We use this leather in the following colours:
-black
-mahagony (medium brown with a reddish tint)
-london (the description for this almost un-dyed leather originates from equestrian sport)
