The 'Sulgen-Elk' is a more elegant version of the driving whip.
The handle is made from a special twisted wood, which in Germany is known as 'Sulgen-Wood'. Attached is a very long tongue fabricated from exquisit, approx. 2.5 millimetre thick elk leather. What makes this leather special is it's combination of extreme softness and high durability. The induced pain is less sharp, the intensity depends considerably on the speed of the tongue.

The handling of this whip is similar to a short stock whip, but the effect is distinctly different. With some practice you can even make it crack.
