Dogging Bats have their origin in a form of sport of South American cowboys.
Characteristic features consist of a wide double swat and an elastic inlay in the handle, which gives the implement a swing and its special slapping performance.
Beside the deployment as a classic spanking instrument, the dogging bat is also suitable for more sensitive areas, if not used too forcefully.
An implement with a wide scope of application and built-in addiction factor!
We produce our dogging bats from prime English bridle leather (please see additional description below) in the following colours:
- black
- bordeauxred with stitching and edges in black
- mahagony with stitching and edges in black
Length of bat approx. 44 centimetres
Length of hand loop approx. 20 centimetres
Our English bridle leather is an especially high-quality drum dyed leather and has a thickness of approximately 3,5 to 4 millimetres.
The surface is not covered with insoluble pigments, but natural, providing a particularly pleasant grip and feel.
Over time it becomes softer, rather than harder (in contrast to cheap belt leather, which turns hard and brittle after a while).
This leather benefits from a little dubbing from time to time; oil, however should not be used, as due to the naturally retained surface it could change the colour of the leather.
