Product information "Heavy-Duty Leather Hood with straps"

There is a good reason why such heavy-duty leather hoods also like to be described as deprivation hoods.
Deprivation = sensual dispossession characterises the effect appropriately.
Two layers of soft cushioned cowhide tightly tie in the head and reduce the perception of the surroundings severely.
The eyes are completely shut.
The ear cushions let the surrounding noise fade far into the background, and the additional use of a standard foam earplug reduces the sense of hearing to almost zero.
The nose is generously tailored and is equipped with openings large enough to be able to breathe relatively comfortably.
Accordingly, the mask can be worn over a longer period of time and while the senses concentrate on the breathing, even the slightest touch of the body is perceived with sensational intensity.
The effect of the hood's tight lacing can be increased by pulling the straps more or less tightly and leaves the impression of a head restraint.
Apart from the nose openings there is also a small hole in front of the mouth. It is big enough to fit a regular drinking straw and supply the hooded person with little sips of liquid. When the mouth strap is closed, this hole is no longer visible.

This hood is very restrictive and should be enjoyed with care in the beginning.
It is definitively not suitable for persons who suffer from claustrophobia or have a tendency for panic attacks.
The person wearing the hood should never be left alone, in order to be able to open and remove the mask quickly in an emergency.

The hood is available in four different sizes.

Heavy Hood with flaps

Heavy masks like this one are not called “deprivation hoods” for nothing. Depriving you of your senses is exactly what they do. First of all, two layers of softly padded cows’ leather constrict the head and reduce all sensory input from the environment massively. The eyes are fully closed and the ear padding lets you forget all about external sounds. As a second step the front and back flaps of the mask are closed with zippers. This will block the senses even more, particularly hearing. The zipper’s sliders can be secured with small padlocks to prevent unauthorized removal of the mask. Always bear in mind the wearer’s reduced ability to breathe! The smaller the opening left by the zipper of the face flap is, the more difficult breathing will be. With the flap open, breathing will be almost uninhibited as the nose section is designed with ample space and large holes for comfortable breathing. The further the zipper is pulled shut, the more a cavity is formed from which the exchange of air to the outside only occurs through the zipper, markedly inhibiting this exchange. This means that the wearer should always be closely observed, for possible breathing difficulties to be spotted early. If the mask is to be worn for longer periods, the front zipper should only be closed as far as still allows for regular breathing. Besides the nostril holes there is also a small hole at the mouth. This allows for a regular straw to be inserted and the wearer to drink small sips of liquid.   This mask is highly restrictive and should be used with caution. It is unsuitable for individuals suffering from claustrophobia or with a proclivity for panic attacks. The person wearing the mask should never be left unattended, so the mask can be taken off as quickly as possible in case of emergency!   The mask is available in four different sizes. See the table below for the exact measurements.
