Strap Whips – strong to severe
The effect of a strap whip is distinctly different to that of a flogger. The structure of the instrument is almost identical. The tails, however, are mostly made from hard and edged leather; in some cases saddle or strap leather is used. This results, depending on the design of the whip, in a clearly sharper to severe pain, which one should approach with a certain amount of caution.
Strap whips almost always leave marks and welts!
We recommend using a flogger as a prelude to the session with a strap whip.
This causes the skin and body to effectively 'warm up' to then be ready for the more intensive pain of the strap whip.
