Belt Whips

Originally, these Beating Whips weren't intended as whips, but to remove the dust from military uniforms of Prussian soldiers and therefore typically belonged in the barracks.But many of these objects found their way into naughty children's parents houses, where they took -  on account of the seven tails - the name 'Seven Stripes'. The unusually thick and especially strong leather, which was typically used for the manufacturing of military belts and the ultra tough inner sides of riding boots, is what makes these whips so special. This Beating Whip should always be used with caution and is not suitable for beginners! The very solid tails of the whip will become significantly more flexible after having been used (with care) a few times. Only after this breaking in will this whip develope its - for connoisseurs well appreciated - character and works very well for a hard-core session! Beating Whips were often made from scraps of leather, sometimes with strips mixed in different colours. The name of this strap whip says it all:The Centipede is actually equipped with a hundred tails in the form of thin leather strings. The effect of this whip is quite virulent and sharp on one hand, but also rather weighty through the mass of the tails on the other. If it's the tips, which predominantly hit the target, the virulent effect is especially shown. This particularly happens if you strike the Centipede from rather a long distance, like a flogger. With this in mind, the Centipede is not fitting for the highly sensitive, but rather for serious masochists.  The leather strings are quite stiff initially and can leave longer lasting marks, but turn more flexible over time. The handle, made from black ash, is pleasant to hold and allows for good handling, due to it's button-shaped termination. The little hand loop is detachable with a press stud. - the short version of our strap whips from the X-Family This short strap whip can be handled quite easily and precisely. The short tails make it easy to aim and allow exact dosage. Therefore this whip can also be deployed in harder to reach areas of the body. The strap whips of the X-family owe their name to the X-shaped cross stitch, with which the leather is sewn around the handle. They are crafted from a thin, edged belt leather. The 2 millimetre strong and 5 to 6 millimetre wide tails generate a surprisingly sharp pain, due to their firmness and can leave distinct marks! Little X is suitable for experienced Tops and Subs who like close contact and proximity, as well as novices for whom a normal flogger is too soft. In France, the Martinet was typically used for the punishment of unruly children. At the end of the 19th century every soldier of the Grande Nation was equipped with a martinet. However, its original use was not for corporal punishment but rather to dust off uniforms at the end of long marches or battles. It was only occasionally that the martinet was employed to punish wrongdoings by soldiers. From the military environment the implement quickly made its way to French households, where it was used to painfully mark the buttocks and other bodily areas of naughty children. This historical development is comparable to that of the German “Klopfpeitsche”, which is also called “Siebenstriemer” (Seven-Cords) and available from us. Both implements are in fact very similar. The french martinet is a little more “petite” than its German counterpart: Its handle is more narrow, its cords thinner, as well as the flail being shorter on the whole. While a Klopfpeitsche traditionally has seven cords, a martinet can have up to twelve of them. We have accounted for this by creating and offering two martinet variants. This difference also very much affects the pain caused. While seven cords make for a stinging pain, the effect of ten cords is somewhat more spread out and less stinging. But: either variant is highly likely to leave intensive marks. This means that all martinets should be counted amongst the wicked implements. Children were not unjustifiedly afraid of them, enough for the threat of punishment alone being usually sufficient to ensure obedience. So when getting acquainted, please: start off carefully! - the medium version of our strap whips from the X-family This strap whip is similar in its execution to a medium-sized flogger and is therefore especially suited for those who find a normal flogger too soft. The typical deployment areas are the back and shoulders al well as the bottom. The tails have excess length and can be shortened to your personal preference. The strap whips of the X-family owe their name to the X-shaped cross stitch, with which the leather is sewn around the handle. They are crafted from a thin, edged belt leather. Leather-string strap whip The Leather-string strap whip is the little sister of the Centipede. But if you think that smaller also means less dangerous, you are wrong. Really wrong! She has about 25 leather strings impacting on a smaller area at pretty high speed, causing sharp pain and conspicuous welts. This makes this strap whip perfect for those looking a flogger-like implement but preferring sharp and intense pain. The handle made from braided knots can be held comfortably. If needed, the hand-loop can ensure a firm attachment as well as be used to hang the whip up in the play-area.
